NumLock on Boot in XFCE
Find the file ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/keyboards.xml in your home folder (enabling the viewing of hidden files first), and make sure the following values are set to true:
Numlock: value=true
RestoreNumlock: value=true
